De naam \u201cBelvaux\u201d doet denken aan \u201c<strong>mooie vallei<\/strong>\u201d !<\/p><\/div>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-stackable-text stk-block-text stk-block stk-ccb042c\" data-block-id=\"ccb042c\"><p class=\"stk-block-text__text has-text-align-left\">De inwoners van het dorp krijgen de bijnaam \u201c<strong>Caracolis\u201d<\/strong> (Waals voor slakken), die hebben ze te danken aan het intensief kweken van slakken in deze streek in de 19<sup>de<\/sup> eeuw.
