In de rue de l\u2019Antenne, kan je een ongewoon standbeeld zien : een man met een viskop op stelten. Dit standbeeld van de plaatselijke artieste Vinciane Renard, doet ons herinneren aan de naam die gegeven wordt aan de inwoners van Lessive : \u201c<strong>les Tchabots<\/strong>\u201d. Deze Waalse benaming omschrijft kleine visjes met een platte kop, zwart van kleur, die regelmatig stranden op het droge na een overstroming.<\/p><\/div>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-stackable-text stk-block-text stk-block stk-44ce644\" data-block-id=\"44ce644\"><p class=\"stk-block-text__text has-text-align-left\">Dit beeld herinnert ons ook aan de folklore van de inwoners van <strong>Lessive<\/strong>. Inderdaad, tijdens de overstromingen moesten de \u201clessivois\u201d hun kuddes van weide kunnen verplaatsen en dus \u201caller \u00e0 skasses\u201d \u2026.op stelten lopen. Vandaag zijn de stelten vervangen door rubberlaarzen maar een folklore groep \u201c les skassis de Lessive\u201d vereeuwigt de traditie. Elk jaar komen ze op straat tijdens het dorpsfeest in juli.<\/p><\/div>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-stackable-text stk-block-text stk-block stk-ffc387a\" data-block-id=\"ffc387a\"><p class=\"stk-block-text__text has-text-align-left\">Tussen de heuveltjes (op het vlakke landschap) die ook \u201cles Tiennes&#8221; genoemd worden kan je de <strong>oude antennes<\/strong> zien van het vroegere grondstation voor telecommunicatie via satellieten.
